Accessibility

How Cuddle.id is built to be usable by everyone, and how to report a barrier.

Our aim

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. People often read this subject on a phone, quietly, with very little time — which is exactly when poor accessibility does the most damage.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading order and a skip-to-content link.
  • Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Tool results are announced to screen readers and never rely on colour alone.
  • Text contrast is checked against the AA threshold and text resizes to 200% without breaking.
  • Motion is minimal and respects the reduced-motion setting.
  • Forms have real labels and errors described in words, not by colour.

Known limits

Third-party destinations we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
